GMEX Group & ZERO13

At COP29, ZERO13 celebrated the landmark Ghana-Singapore ITMO agreement under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement by hosting a panel at the Ghana pavillion after announcing a collaboration with the Ghana Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to facilitate ITMO trading via the ZERO13 ITMO Trading Hub in Singapore. This highlights Ghana's leadership in carbon markets and Singapore's commitment to sustainability. We are proud to have supported discussions driving innovation, cross-border cooperation, and impactful climate action. 

We also organised a panel in collaboration with SECDEX Group and The Ministry Of Agriculture, Climate Change and Environment of the Republic Of Seychelles at the African pavilion under the auspices of the African Union and the African Development Bank (AfDB). This session explored the remarkable opportunities and significant challenges that Africa’s carbon markets are encountering, and how we can enable African countries to assume a leading position in the global carbon market. Government representatives from Ghana, Kenya and Seychelles joined the panel along with representatives from the Commonwealth and UNDP.
